Walking School Bus app for iPhone and iPad

The "Walking School Bus" (WSB) program was initiated by parents and carers of a local primary school in Australia. This community driven project was developed and implemented by working in conjunction with the school, local police station and the City Council.

WSB App is designed to enhance the communication between users and maximise the efficiency of administrative areas including record-keeping.

WSB App is to support the school community and is free to download.

One of key features of WSB App is a real-time broadcasting of GPS location. It enables the users to monitor bus activities in real time.

WSB App includes the following features:

1. Student and Volunteer list.
2. Daily and Weekly Planner.
3. Change Request.
4. Notification to users via WhatsApp including sending student list prior to each bus and bus snapshot at the end of the bus.
5. GPS Broadcasting from a volunteer to WSB program users in real time.
6. GPS Tracking for WSB program users in real time.
